Saku Metall Subcontracting received a Silver Medal in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment
Saku Metall Allhanke Tehas has achieved an important recognition by receiving a Silver Medal in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment. This result places us among the most sustainable companies in our industry and within the top 15% of all companies assessed.
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment is one of the world’s most trusted methodologies for evaluating corporate sustainability and responsible business practices. The assessment covers four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
“The Silver Medal is a meaningful achievement for us, but it is not the end goal,” said Janno Jegers, Sustainability Manager at Saku Metall Group. “We see it as a milestone on our journey of continuous improvement, sustainability and innovation, encouraging us to set new and even more ambitious goals. This recognition reflects the consistent work of our team and the clear priorities that create value not only for the company, but also for our partners, employees and the wider community.”
“We are proud to be part of a global shift in which sustainable and responsible business practices are becoming a natural part of economic development. We will continue working to provide high-quality products and services while remaining committed to our principles and considering the interests of both current and future generations,” added Jegers.
