Lissmac deburring machine at Saku Metall Subcontracting Factory

Saku Metall Allhanke Tehas has expanded its production capabilities with a new LISSMAC SBM-M 1000 S2 deburring and edge-rounding machine. The new equipment efficiently removes sharp edges and burrs left by punching and laser cutting. By rounding the edges, we improve coating quality and make components safer to handle.

Thanks to its double-sided design, the machine processes both sides of a component simultaneously, significantly increasing efficiency. It is also connected to a U-shaped conveyor system, allowing one operator to load and unload parts from the same side of the machine and making the overall process smoother.

We have already been using the equipment for some time and have seen a significant increase in productivity. Compared with manual edge rounding, the process is approximately four times faster. The quality and consistency of the results have also improved considerably.

By integrating the new machine into our production flow, we have been able to remove one of the bottlenecks in our manufacturing process and move it further down the production line. This investment supports our goal of providing customers with even higher-quality and more efficient manufacturing.
